FCE & Other Services

FCE reportFUNCTIONAL CAPACITY EVALUATIONS (FCE) provide objective information focused on determining the work abilities of an individual while simultaneously assessing the status of their disability.

Individual assessments last approximately four hours and focus on various parameters including strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, cardiovascular condition and body mechanics.

Our functional capacity evaluations are designed to provide valuable information to patients, employers, insurance companies and case managers.

With a data-driven, results-oriented process, Advantage Consulting, Inc. provides supporting information for return-to-work actions, supporting medical evidence, worker empowerment and providing education to patients that differentiates pain and function. Ultimately, it provides a significant cost savings for medical and indemnity.

Organizations should expect that, as part of an FCE, Advantage Consulting, Inc. may assist in setting goals and treatment planning, assist in matching job demands with physical capabilities, provide pre-employment information and determine case closure.
